Homage..... orginating in 1901 the trench coat was officially the army officers rain coat, then it became optional item for the British army. Renound to withstand wind and rain it became a fashionable item once Thomas burberry and aquascutum took hold...
From tere it took off, and has been renounded for films such as Casa blanca, Breakfast at tiffanys and within the book series of "a series of unfortunate Events, where lemony snicket was shown in photographs wearing a brown trench coat...

Reinventing the trench coat




Milan Spring 2010 trend.
I liked the Missioni wrinkled effect on the trench (Gave it a distinguishable look), and bailey for burberry has now being able to soften the trench coats characteristic rigid silohette due to advances in fabric tecnhology, which allows the colars and lapels to be wider to.
But you tell me which one is your favourite for 2010 and why?
